Dana White Softens his Tone

UFC president Dana White and Fedor Emelianenko have never been very amiable to each other, particularly Dana White towards Emelianenko. He had to listen all sorts of criticism from White such as being overestimated, being a fraud out and out. He has been kind of obsessed with bringing down Fedor’s prestige in no matter what situation and has even resorted to public forums lately. But this has recently caused a great hue and cry among the MMA viewers who have strongly criticized his attitude and have spoken up against him.  White had gone to the extent of getting into somewhat a deal with M-1’s untrustworthy management to have Emelianenko’s services cut short and this has been just as a fuel being added to the fire the very Tuesday when it was leaked.

Fedor Emelianenko is out of the scene and currently having a good time in Russia after his retirement. On the other hand, Dana trying to recover his fallen position in front of the viewers has decided to concede Emelianenko as one of the best heavy-weights ever seen in UFC but he is completely against the fact about Emelianenko being considered as one of the greatest mixed martial artists of all-time.

White has declared already that Fedor Emelianenko would not fight anymore but there are many people who think that he ‘can’ get himself a last retiring match in the UFC and unfortunately for Dana the number of these people is quite a count. White is trying to defend his statement saying that the UFC officials including hm had tried to contact Fedor and give him a last chance to show his skills but Fedor had denied as he feels no more need to fight. However, with the concession about Fedor, White can save his back from the criticism he is facing currently.
